IZTECH was selected as one of Türkiye’s top 10 research universities in 2017 in line with the criteria determined by the Council of Higher Education and became the only university from the Aegean Region to make the list. 

According to the results of the “Research Universities Performance Monitoring Index” announced by the Council of Higher Education in 2020, IZTECH ranked fourth among 11 research and 5 candidate research universities. 

In 2021, IZTECH increased its performance score by 7 points compared to last year and became Turkey’s “4th Most Successful Research University”.
