In 2023, IZTECH supported over 100 scientific projects under TÜBİTAK, DPT, and European Union initiatives, taking significant steps in strategic areas such as advanced materials, energy, biotechnology, and nanotechnology. These projects are designed to enhance research quality and boost competitiveness on the international stage. Moreover, substantial financial support from various sources—with the European Union as a notable contributor—plays a critical role in ensuring the sustainability of these research efforts.
Nearly 47.66% of IZTECH’s scientific publications are international in nature and indexed in leading databases such as SCI and SSCI. This fact highlights both the high quality of the publications and the institution’s active international collaborations. The Research Universities Criteria continuously evaluates the quality of these publications, with the 2023 and 2024 activity reports (pages 141–154 and 135–155, respectively) detailing this success.
